This page offers a brief introduction to the types of therapy I weave together to help each individual find their best way of healing and living. Careful integration of the many options available to us brings the best results.
Nutrition is foundational. These days there is a bewildering array of diets, plans, protocols—and plenty of confusion and one-size-fits-all advice. And unbelievably, most doctors and pediatricians, and even many alternative practitioners, are not educated in the basic physiology of food. I can help you find a simple, individualized, enjoyable way of eating that addresses your health aims. Some foods have surprisingly specific and powerful medicinal actions (and some have powerful disease-promoting actions).
Herbal medicines can have powerful impacts and should be used with care. They are often employed to suppress troublesome symptoms, but I believe they are best used to support our natural immunity and healing processes. Carefully chosen, they can play an important part in health and are easy to incorporate into our lives.
Gemmotherapy, also known as phytoembryotherapy, is a specialized kind of botanical medicine widely practiced in Europe for a century. It has a particular strength in cellular cleansing and regeneration. It is used in very small quantities—typically measured in drops per day.
Homeopathy offers living organisms an opportunity reorder and reset at the deepest level: the energetic level from which health and disease and even our unique identity emerge. I practice classical homeopathy, which is a holistic, scientific medical system embraced by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, and refined over the last two hundred thirty years.
Fasting isn’t right for everyone, but for many of us short fasts can be extremely helpful. We humans didn’t evolve eating around the clock, day in and day out. In fact modern eating habits can be very hard on our bodies, especially when we’re eating unsuitable foods. If intermittent or periodic fasting interests you, we can design a safe plan that keeps you well nourished.
Movement and healthy breathing are both energizing and calming. Nothing we swallow or inject can substitute for appropriate movement. It can also be a surprising source of joy and confidence. Sometimes we need to leave behind the idea that we’re “supposed to exercise” and find a way to play.
Light cycles, healthy water, and contact with the Earth directly guided and protected our health throughout our evolution. Today the natural rhythms and flows are disrupted, and human health is suffering as a result. Re-establishing a natural life is key to wellness.
Scheduling and Fees
My aim is to help each person restore deep health, resilience, and a powerful immune system.
This is a complex process which takes time and can result in a lifetime of benefit, not a quick fix. Therefore I ask new patients to commit to working with me for at least six months. This allows us to reasonably assess your progress. I’m happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation, which can help you decide whether my practice is what you’re looking for.
Often four weeks between appointments works well, but in some cases meeting more or less frequently is appropriate. Appointments are online via Google Meet or FaceTime. Payments can be made through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account.
