Holistic Health Care
“The writer is fully aware that his message is not orthodox; but since our orthodox theories have not saved us we may have to readjust them to bring them into harmony with Nature’s Laws. Nature must be obeyed, not orthodoxy.”
Dr. Weston A. Price
This page offers a brief introduction to the types of therapy I practice.
It’s from Nature that life and healing come. Synergy is Nature’s way. We can re-engage with this synergy to create deep and expansive healing.
Nutrition is foundational. These days there is a bewildering array of diets, plans, protocols—and plenty of confusion and one-size-fits-all advice. And unbelievably, most doctors and pediatricians, and even many alternative practitioners, are not educated in the basic physiology of food. I can help you create a simple, individualized, enjoyable way of eating that addresses your health aims. Many foods (and combinations of foods) have surprisingly specific and powerful medicinal actions.
Herbal medicines can have powerful impacts and should be used with care. They are often employed to suppress troublesome symptoms, but I believe they are best used to support our natural immunity and healing processes. Carefully chosen, they can play an important part in health and are easy to incorporate into our lives.
Gemmotherapy, also known as phytoembryotherapy, is a specialized kind of botanical medicine widely practiced in Europe for a century. It has a particular strength in cellular cleansing and regeneration. It is used in very small quantities—typically measured in drops per day—and is gentle and safe.
Homeopathy offers living organisms an opportunity reorder and reset at the deepest level: the energetic level from which health and disease and even our unique identity emerge. I practice classical homeopathy, which is a holistic, scientific medical system embraced by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, and refined over the last two hundred thirty years.
Fasting isn’t right for everyone at every time, but for many of us short fasts can be extremely helpful. We humans didn’t evolve eating around the clock, day in and day out. In fact modern eating habits can be very hard on our bodies, especially when we’re eating unsuitable foods. If intermittent or periodic fasting interests you, we can design a safe plan that keeps you well nourished.
Lifestyle restoration means making changes that bring us back into alignment with Nature’s many ways of actively healing us and supporting our well being. This includes a diverse array of simple actions—simple, but with profound effects.
Scheduling and Fees
Please read the following carefully before scheduling:
My aim is to help each person restore deep health, resilience, and a powerful immune system. This is a complex process which takes time and can result in a lifetime of benefit, not a quick fix. For this reason, I ask new patients to commit to working with me for at least six months. This allows us to reasonably assess your progress. I’m happy to offer a free 20-minute consultation, which can help you decide whether my practice is what you’re looking for.
In most cases, appointments should be every three to six weeks, depending on your situation. Appointments are online. Payment will be requested through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment.
